I would just like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved from Askams Civil Engineering (and associated subcontractors) for your hard work, proactive attitude and innovative ideas in the face of some of the challenging issues that were presented by the scheme such as the enormous soft spot area, uncharted drainage and the water main diversion. I would also like to thank you for your support in identifying and correcting defects throughout the scheme, especially in supporting the Councils position with regards to the surfacing defects. It is without a doubt that the approach taken by yourselves helped to progress and deliver the scheme in a reasonable timescale, cost and level of quality.
