Reinforced Concrete is a new division within the existing company, Our goal is to be a leading reinforced concrete contractor recognised for quality, safety, value and customer satisfaction.

The staff employed within the division have years of experience within the industry and proven track records in delivering projects safely and efficiently. This in turn with the existing company structure and resources will enable us to provide a service that will exceed our clients’ expectations.

We aim to provide quality service from tender enquiry to the completion of the project.

Budget Information. We are able to assist in giving budgetary information to assess the economic feasibility of a project. This can be done with limited information.

Value Engineering . From a very early stage we are able to assist in designing a more economical structure. This can range from a few simple suggestions or a more involved approach attending design team meetings and suggesting alternative methods of construction such as post tensioning. This service is a useful tool in getting within budget without reducing margin or quality.

Reinforced Concrete Construction . We offer practical construction solutions that are built to achievable and safe programmes. We will work in all sectors commercial, residential, retail and education, from a value of £500,000 to £3,000,000. Our site teams are made up of professional people with a can do approach.

Reinforcement Detailing. It is becoming more common the rebar detailing is not included with the structural engineer’s package. We are able to offer this service, which enables us to detail the reinforcement to suit our construction sequence and methods.

Reinforced Concrete Frame Design. We are happy to take on the design of the reinforced concrete frame. This is of particular use if the engineer that is being used is not experienced in RC design, which results in an uneconomical structure. Our engineer will design the structure whilst liaising with the rest of the design team to ensure total design coverage.

Craneage . We are able to supply our own craneage which then can be hired by the client for follow on trades. By Askam supplying the crane we take the risk on wind offs and breakdowns.
